Dressing for Thanksgiving

Sometimes half the fun of holiday parties is getting dressed for them. I love an excuse to dress up, pull out my favorite pumps, or just to wear that glitzy necklace. However, if showing up to dinner in rhinestones and leopard isn’t your jam, I’ve got a few ideas for you too.

Outfit 1 (GLAM): If your holiday get together includes all your relatives pulling out their best then this might be the look for you! I love the lace detail all over this skirt- incredibly feminine and festive. This simple pull-over sweater helps keep the attention on the detail in the skirt. To top the look off on both ends we have some rhinestones and leopard. You will look incredible and people may not even notice if you burn your pumpkin pie.

Outfit 2 (CASUAL): If you prefer the more casual and comfort route for your Thanksgiving Day feast I highly recommend a stretchy cord (these ones are incredible), a simple bootie, and a aztec print top. This look is simple, comfortable, and those pants aren’t going to leave you moaning after you’ve eaten too many helpings of stuffing.

Outfit 3 (DEEP HUES): I’m all about the glam, but if you aren’t digging those romantic, winter, jewel tones just yet, maybe these rugged colors, textures, and prints are more up your alley. This loose fitting swing dress will be prefect for indulging in one more slice of pie. And these booties- uh. Wonderfulness. That’s all. And to top it off, a simple aztec scarf and a boho bucket bag (perfect for hiding tupperware to bring leftovers home in).

My favorite may have to be the deep hues, but I would gladly show up to a Thanksgiving feast in any of these outfits! Maybe I’ll attend three giant feasts so I can wear all three outfits.
